My Name is Tim Moyer.
I have been working with computers for over 25 years now. Yes, I do look young for having that kind of history, but I started out on a commodore 128 so that might give you some idea of the dates. I have always loved figuring out how they worked "what made them tick". My first relationship with computers was for music and back then, you had to know how to build a computer with specific hardware in order to make the software run. I even had to dabble in BASIC programming to get things to work.
I won't bore you with all of the details, but I have worked my way into running my own computer service business for the last 7 years now; learning every step of the way. That is yet another enjoyment of computers I have. You are always learning. If someone tells you they "know it all", RUN!
Computer technology changes almost daily. So working with them on a daily basis means always learning new things. That is part of the fun.
If I don't have the solution, I have the tools, and I know where to look to get the problem solved.
